Why Giving Back is Built into Our Culture
We believe successful businesses have a responsibility to support the people around them, and that creating a positive impact doesn’t stop at great technology services.
This is at the heart of BusinessWorks because it comes from the top down. It’s driven by our Director, Tim, who has an ongoing passion for community and charity work. He even spent a year in Peru building homes and managing volunteers for Pisco Sin Fronteras, helping local communities recover after natural disasters.
That experience stands out because it’s been central to shaping the values that guide the business today: helping people, building strong communities, and creating opportunities for others.
Sustainable Funding
Partnering with Pancare
We’re a long-standing supporter of Pancare, a charity dedicated to improving outcomes for people affected by pancreatic cancer. We show our support through ongoing participation, advocacy, event sponsorship, and taking part in their Par 5 program.
The Par 5 program is a business network and B2B marketplace that creates sustainable funding for cancer research. When business is generated through the marketplace, a share of revenue goes directly to the Pancare Foundation. This allows businesses to meet their needs while helping to fund vital research and provide hope for patients and families.

We proudly support Igniting Change, a charity that makes a difference for people who are doing it tough. Their work focuses on listening, learning and amplifying the voices of people with lived experience.
Through our charity partnership we’ve been able to donate laptops to families in need, opening the door to education, employment and connection. Recycling laptops has allowed us to give suitable devices a second life, reduce e-waste and make a real difference where it matters. Small, consistent actions add up, and we’re proud to play a role in helping Igniting Change empower diverse communities.

Pancare’s Experience Making IT Simple

The Challenge: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Melbourne went into lockdown. Pancare’s revenue fell by 50%, and their in-person service model stalled. The charity organisation needed an IT solution that connected their people, supported remote patient care, and helped them keep day to day operations running.
Our Solution: We helped Pancare go fully cloud based through Microsoft 365 Business Premium, with Microsoft Teams at the core. As a result, staff could collaborate securely and provide care remotely.
The Result: With Teams in place, Pancare was able to expand virtual care, host remote support groups around the country, and run a fundraising campaign that raised more than $300,000 to support thousands of people in need.
